2. 5 Factors To Consider When Choosing a Manufacturer

According to a recent market research report, the global Liquid Blush market size is projected to reach USD million by . From USD million in , at a CAGR of -, the market growth in the Asia Pacific region is primarily driven by countries such as China, Japan, India, and Singapore.
As a result, many manufacturers are now focusing on expanding their production and distribution in these countries to tap into the growing demand for liquid blush products. When choosing a lip blush manufacturer, there are several factors to consider:

#1 Quality

It's important to choose a manufacturer that uses high-quality ingredients and follows strict quality control procedures. This is to ensure that the lip blushes you receive are safe to use and meet your desired standards. These are just some of the characters of a good quality blush to look at:

  • Pigmentation: A good blush should have a high pigmentation level to ensure that a little goes a long way and that the color is easily buildable.
  • Blendability: To create a flush that looks natural, blush should be applied and integrated flawlessly into the skin.
  • Staying Power: A nice blush should have excellent wearability and maintain your color throughout the day without fading or smudging

#2 Ingredients

A good lip blush manufacturer should use only skin-friendly ingredients. They are gentle and non-irritating, suitable for all skin types, and that is safe for use on the lips. This means that the lip blush should be free of harsh chemicals or irritants that could cause allergic reactions or other skin issues. I recommend checking the ingredients list to make sure that it is made with ingredients that are free from harmful additives.

#3 Formulations

A good lip blush manufacturer should offer a variety of formulations. This means that the manufacturer is able to provide options for different skin types. And preferences, so that consumers can find the perfect product for them. There are several different formulations of blush available, including:

  • Powder blush: This is the most traditional and common type of blush. It comes in a compact or loose powder form and is applied with a brush. It can provide a natural-looking finish and is easy to blend.
  • Cream blush: This type of blush is typically applied with the finger or a sponge and can provide a dewy finish. It is easy to blend and can be used to create a natural or more dramatic look.
  • Gel blush: Gel blushes are similar to cream blushes in terms of texture and application. But they tend to be more lightweight and less oily. They can provide a natural-looking finish and are easy to blend.
  • Liquid blush: This blush comes in a liquid form and is typically applied with a brush or beauty blender. It can provide a natural-looking finish and is easy to blend.
  • Tinted balm blush: This kind of blush combines the properties of both lip balm and blush. It's a multi-purpose product that can be used on the lips and cheeks, it provides a sheer and natural color.
  • Stick blush: This type of blush is applied directly from a stick and can be used on the cheeks. It's easy to use and controls the intensity of the color.

So, for example, liquid blush may be more suitable for oily skin types. As it can be easily blended and absorbed. While a cream blush may be better for dry skin as it provides a more hydrating and nourishing effect.

#4 Customization

A good lip blush manufacturer is able to customize the formulation and packaging. To suit the specific needs of their clients. This means that the manufacturer should be able to work with clients. To create unique products that meet their specific needs and requirements. I recommend communicating their requirements clearly to the manufacturer and working closely with them to develop a product that meets their expectations.

Customization can include the choice of ingredients, the shade of the lip blush, the packaging design, and even the scent. By having the ability to customize the formulation and packaging, clients can create a lip blush product that is unique and tailored to their specific target market.

#5 Certifications

A good lip blush manufacturer should have certifications. This means that the manufacturer has been audited. And certified by a reputable third-party organization. And that their products meet the safety and quality standards set by the industry. Here are the certifications you must check when sourcing a manufacturer:

  • FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Clearance or approval of the product. Indicating that it has been determined to be safe and effective for its intended use.
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification. Which ensures that the manufacturer follows strict quality control. And cleanliness standards in the production of their products.
  • ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification. Which verifies that the manufacturer has a quality management system in place. And that they meet international standards for product safety and performance.
  • Cruelty-free certification. Indicating that the manufacturer does not test their products on animals.

It's also good to check for any certification that the manufacturer has. Like their ingredients, such as being organic, natural, and/or non-toxic.

These are just some of the factors to consider when choosing a blush manufacturer. It's important to also consider other factors such as their production capabilities. Also their shipping and logistics options, and any additional services they offer. At Nako Cosmetic, we strive to provide our clients with the best possible service. And support throughout the entire manufacturing process.

It is hard to choose which is the best one among the manufacturers as it depends on the specific needs of the business and the target market. However, as I checked, I found that Nako Cosmetic is a great option. This is because of its wide range of product certifications and many years of experience in the industry.

Milk Makeup

Why it's worth it: Trendy beauty products come and go, but Milk Makeup's Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick is here to stay in our makeup bag. This creamy, demi-matte cream blush has been a vanity essential for our editors since it was originally launched in , thanks to its barely-there feel and skin-conditioning blend of mango butter, avocado oil, and apricot oil. It's also worth noting that this glowy blush has a pretty extensive shade range: currently, you can choose from 11 different berries, reds, and neutrals. Each stick provides over 1,000 swipes of highly pigmented color, so a little goes a long way.

Tester feedback: "I've stuck to the same tube of Milk Makeup's cream blush for nearly a year, and it's not even close to running out, so when I say this tiny tube lasts, I truly mean it," says commerce writer Jennifer Hussein. "I never leave home without my essentials: , keys, and Muse, the deep burgundy shade in this creamy blush's 11-shade lineup. Its saturated pigments are enough to wax poetic over, but its texture deserves some kudos, too. It's easy to blend out for a sheer, everyday makeup look or can be layered for a more dramatic effect."

Tester feedback: Kara McGrath, Allure's deputy digital director, says this blush is her go-to for its second skin-like finish. "When I want a blush that's going to melt right onto my skin, I reach for the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk Pink Pop," she says. Tester feedback: "I love a multipurpose product and lip and cheek tints are definitely at the top of that list," says commerce editor Sarah Han. "No. 1 de Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm has a buttery, red camellia oil-infused formula that easily transfers onto the pad of my (clean!) ring finger so I can dab away on my cheeks and lips. Even though it's a tint, shades like Berry Boost don't disappoint in the pigmentation category'I'm left with a pretty flush that I can apply and blend out with just my fingers, or if I'm not in a rush, a blush brush (I'm using Saie's The Double Brush in the clip).

Sephora

Why it's worth it: Danessa Myricks Beauty's Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed is a follow-up to the brand's Allure Best of Beauty Breakthrough-winning bi-phase formula, a.k.a., balm-to-powder foundation, so it's a given that we'd fall in love at first swipe. Tester feedback: "I love any makeup that incorporates skin-care ingredients, and the hyaluronic acid and olive-derived squalane present in this formula is no exception'no matter if I pile it on or dab on a sheer layer, my skin still feels soft to the touch," says Han. "Myricks gave us color range, too: Primadonna (vibrant hot pink pictured above) is the star of the show, in my opinion, but Rosé N Brunch is a cute neutral rosy pink that's perfect for when I want just a pinch of tint."

Ilia Beauty

Why it's worth it: Ilia Multi-Stick's easy-wearing, buttery, and Allure Readers' Choice Award-winning formula is sure to be a hit with people of all skill levels. It just melts into your skin and has a realistic finish that doesn't scream, 'Hey, I'm absolutely wearing blush right now.'. Henney used the shade A Fine Romance (a bright berry) on Megan Fox while she was filming Till Death and tells Allure that the resulting healthy flush didn't budge after filming for 10 to 12 hours.

In case you needed more convincing, Los Angeles-based makeup artist Carola Gonzalez says that the brand's Multi-Sticks "are on another level." Her favorite shade is Lady Bird (a neutral rose), which she describes as "a mix of bronzer and burnt apricot." The cherry on top is the lovely finish, which she says isn't too oily, shimmery, or sheer'talk about the perfect, Goldilocks-like situation.

Tester feedback: Allure commerce producer Sarah Hoffmann says this cream blush has a thicker, denser formula that works perfectly with a brush (her go-to is Ami Cole's The Complexion Brush). "Using a brush gives me a ton of control with placement and allows me to adjust how strong the color is, which I love'it's like having multiple shades in one," she says. "'A Fine Romance' is the perfect berry to me because I can use it as a soft, delicate pink or go full just-ate-a-popsicle by applying it directly to my cheeks or lips."

Frequently Asked Questions

Is cream blush better than powder blush?

It's all about your textural preferences, as both cream and powder blush formulas have their time and place. That said, cream blush formulas generally contain conditioning oils, making them comparatively more moisturizing than their powdery counterparts (take note, dry skin types), and won't disturb dry spots or highlight textured areas of the skin. These balmy, putty-like formulas don't highlight fine lines or seep into wrinkles like powder-based formulations, so they're also a great flush-enhancing alternative for mature skin types. While liquid blushes provide similar effects, creams have the advantage of a buildable, sheer-to-medium coverage formula, which aren't as dramatically pigmented as liquids.

How should I apply cream blush?

First, finding a complimentary shade to your skin tone is key for a natural-looking finish. As a rule of thumb, Los Angeles-based makeup artist Carissa Ferreri previously told Allure that she recommends using a cream blush (or gel) formula in rosy tones. Once you find your shade of preference, it's time to dab on your cream-based blush. "Focus the blush a bit higher on the cheeks, like right under the eyes, and then diffuse any harsh lines," she explained. Joseph Carrillo, a makeup artist based in New York City, also suggests "smiling and applying the color in the center of the apples" before gently fading the edges.

While some come in stick form and others in pots, it's the same deal: Simply apply straight from the bullet and blend out with fingers, a beauty sponge, or a stippling blush brush for more precision. Whatever you do, it's hard to mess up, especially considering most cream blushes are on the sheerer (but buildable) side. If you've gone overboard with the intensity, you can always use your brush or sponge to diffuse the color.

How we test and review products

Before reviewing any makeup, we ask questions about a number of factors: What ingredients are in it? Does the brand offer a wide shade range inclusive of consumers with all skin tones and undertones? Is it safe for readers who have sensitive skin or wear contact lenses? Is it on the affordable side or more of a splurge? Is its packaging consciously designed or needlessly wasteful?

For our review of the best cream blushes, we enlisted the help of multiple editors, writers, contributors, and professional makeup artists to review the products. This ensures our testing base spans different skin tones, genders, and dermatological conditions. We considered each product's performance across four primary categories: ingredients, wear and longevity, packaging, and inclusivity. Our staff and testers

A beauty product is a personal purchase. You might be searching for a face cream to address persistent dryness or a new nail product to add to your Sunday self-care routine; you may simply be browsing around for the latest launches to hit the hair market. No matter what you seek or your individual needs and concerns, Allure wants to ensure that you love anything we recommend in our stories. We believe that having a diverse team of writers and editors ' in addition to the wide range of outside testers and industry experts we regularly call upon ' is essential to reaching that goal.

After all, can we really say a skin-care product is the "best" for people over 50 if the only testers we've solicited opinions from folks who have yet to hit 30? Can we honestly deem a high-end diffuser worthy of your hard-earned cash if it's never been tested on curls? We're proud that our staff spans a wide range of ages, skin tones, hair textures, genders, and backgrounds, which means that we can fairly assess any beauty product that comes into the beauty closet.
