We decided to simplify things even further and have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about the brow stamp and stencils and their corresponding answers and tutorial videos!

What color brow stamp should I get?

What if the color does not work for me?

IF THE COLOR IS TOO DARK?

Stamp the brow stamp on a paper towel before application to remove excess product. After you do this align the stencil and stamp lightly from the tail to the front. If you want more color, realign the stencil and repeat!

IF THE COLOR IS TOO LIGHT?

Before use, ensure you twist the cap 3-4 times to break up the first layer of pigment. We have created our brow stamp with a protective first layer that is a little more dry than what is right below it so that it can withstand the weather while traveling to our customers. Please also note that the sponge is on one end of the stamp and the makeup is inside of the other end so it must be put back into the stamp to get more product onto the sponge.

If already done and it's still lighter than you want it to be, simply apply another layer- adding another layer will darken the pigment.

 

Do I need a right and left stencil?

No! After you complete one side with the brow stamp, simply wipe the stencil, flip and repeat the stamp on the other brow. We recommend using a paper towel or something dry to wipe away the excess product.

 

How do I hold the stencil?

Hold the stencil on your brow area with a widened two-finger hold (your index finger and middle finger are usually best). 

 

How do I know what stencil size I am?

We have simplified the process of having to choose a stencil size when ordering and we now include 6 different shapes that have customizable lengths- long or short!

What do I do if the brow stencil does not fit my current brow shape?

The stencils were created according to the measurements of The Golden Ratio so they may not be perfectly fitted to your exact brow growth.

 * If you like the shape of the stencil, once you stamp it on, you can tweeze the hairs that fall outside of the shape to make your natural brow growth fit the shape perfectly. A lot of estheticians use our stencils during the shaping process to clean up brows! 

  

What is the difference between short and long?

The difference between short and long is the distance from the beginning of the brow to the arch. If your brows are short- choose the short option. If med-long choose the long option. 

 

How do I take the brow stamp off?

The brow stamp is a daily makeup application product that can easily be wiped off with a makeup wipe or soap and water. 

How long does the product last? 

The brow stamp is expected to last 2-3 months but it depends on how often you use it. It is highly pigmented so not a lot of product needs to be used each application!

Can I apply brow gel after applying the brow stamp?

Brow gel can be used after stamping on your brows. This can help create a perfectly manicured and naturally fuller feel. Check out our blog HERE about how to pair your brow stamp with our brow gel!

How long

 does the daily application last?

The brow stamp was formulated to last throughout the whole day once applied. It is water-resistant and formulated to be long wearing. We recommend applying a light amount of setting powder over your brows if you are going to have a more rigorous, sweaty day to ensure no smearing! Don't forget to brush through your brows after applying setting powder.

Do you have refills when I run out?

If it is your first time purchasing the brow stamp then you will want to purchase the brow stamp kit which will include:

-Brow stamp

-6 Stencils 

-Spoolie

-Instruction card

-On-the-go Makeup Bag

If you have previously purchased our brow stamp kit or have our stencils then we also offer our brow stamp sold as just a refill!

Do you offer wholesale?

Will the stamp dry out if I don't close it?

The brow stamp can dry out if you do not close it all the way. To ensure the life of your predict, gently twist it all the way shut (do not over tighten)!

Can I just order a stamp if I don't have stencils?

The brow stamp cannot be used without stencils as the stencils are what make up the shape that you are stamping onto your eyebrows. If you have previously purchased a brow stamp kit or already have our Madluvv stencils then we have an option to purchase the brow stamp refill only. Do not hesitate to reach out if you any questions. 

What do I do if it doesn't work?

If the brow stamp does not work for you please refer back to this blog for helpful tips and tricks. Since we cannot offer refunds on used/opened products we have a great satisfaction policy- we will cover the cost of the replacement product (whether it be the brow stamp or stencils), we just ask that you cover the shipping cost! Who is the Brow Stamp&#; made for?

EVERYONE...duh! The Brow Stamp&#; is an amazing brow-perfecting product and shaping tool for every brow shape, skin type, tone and age. This is great for people with little to no brow hair and for people with very thick brow hair!

Can you use this as a pre-draw method for microblading artists?

This product was not created to be used during the blading portion of the appointment, however it is an amazing tool and resource for brow artists. We recommend if you are to use this as a part of the procedure, then simply use the Brow Stamp&#; to pick a stencil size and/or coloration with your client! Doing this will give you and them an amazing visual as to how the shape and color will look. This product is not suitable to have on during the actual procedure. 

What other beauty applications can you use the Brow Stamp&#; for?

The brow stamp can be used by professionals on clients in many ways:

-During or post waxing- you can stamp the brow on your client and wax around the shape or stamp on after waxing is complete.

-Pre-draw for brow tint or henna (not microblading or anything that opens the skin).

Absolutely! This product can be used on brows with or without permanent makeup, henna or tinting. This is a daily use makeup product. 

 What is the consistency of the product inside of the Brow Stamp&#;?

The consistency is a pomade/gel hybrid consistency. The formulation is buildable, water resistant and long wearing (even on your most oily days!) It goes on smoothly to skin and hair, and dries to a matte finish. 

 What skin type is this good for?

ANY! This Brow Stamp&#; is great for all skin types: normal, sensitive, oily, dry, or a combination. Your brows will even stay in place on the most oily days!

 Is it waterproof?

The Brow Stamp&#; is water resistant- it will stay on during a sweaty workout and even a dip in the pool!

What colors do the Brow Stamp&#; come in?

The Brow Stamp&#; comes in 8 colors: Blonde, Taupe, Soft Brown, Auburn, Medium Brown, Brunette, Dark Brown, and Nearly Black.

How do I build the color?

The stamp color is buildable, which makes it easy to transition from no makeup to full glam. Just simply add an additional layer (remember to start from the back of the brow and work your way to the front to achieve a soft and gorgeous ombre look).

 How do you apply the Brow Stamp&#;?

1. Untwist to open the Brow Stamp&#; and choose the stencil that is most fitting to your brow shape.

2. Hold the stencil on brow area with a widened 'two-finger' hold.

3. Take the sponge end of the Brow Stamp&#; and pat your brow from the tail and finishing at the front.

4. Take a spoolie and brush through your brows to distribute and soften the look of the makeup.

5. Wipe off any excess product from stencil- flip over and stamp the other side for perfectly shaped brows that will last ALL day!

How do I choose the right stencil shape?

Each Brow Stamp&#; kit comes with 5 stencils you can choose from. Choose the smaller stencil size closest to your natural growth. You can use a bigger stencil size for a full face of makeup!

#1 - Our thinnest &#;low profile&#; brow shape. This stencil is great for people with very little to no natural hair growth, who have a low brow bone.

#2 - This brow stencil is our thinnest brow shape and is great for people with little to no natural hair growth.

#3 - Our medium-width &#;low profile&#; brow shape. This stencil is great for people with a medium amount of natural hair growth and who have a low brow bone.

#4 - This brow stencil is our medium-width brow shape and is great for people with a medium amount of natural hair growth.

#5 - Our thickest-width &#;low profile&#; brow shape. This stencil is great for people with a large amount of natural hair growth that also have a low brow bone.

Are there any other tips and tricks?

1. Always start from the outside tail of the brow and work your way in to the nose- this helps achieve the ombre look, which looks natural and compliments the eyes.

2. Brush out any areas where you have applied too much product with the brow spoolie (brush very gently to maintain the shape)

3. We love finishing our brows with a strong holding brow gel- this gives the brows a perfectly manicured and naturally fuller feel!

 

 What if my brow doesn&#;t perfectly align to the stencil?

Simple! Just fill in the portion that fits with your brow, and then angle the stencil to fit the rest. *One thing to note* If you are finding the stencils are nowhere near your brow shape- we would recommend cleaning up the hair around the stencil or even looking at our &#;Low Profile&#; stencil shapes.
