The Purpose of Crude Oil Refining

Oil is the necessity for human being living. Edible oil is one of the main nutrients in food. Oil is also the main origin material for food industry and light industry. Some oil products play an important role in some industries like national defend, metallurgy, textile, medicine. Normal vegetable or animal oils not through refining called crude oil that are got through extraction, leaching, water solvent or smelting. Crude edible oil have many kinds of foreign matters, like silt residue: sand, cake residue; glue&#;soluble impurities like phospholipid, protein, oil&#;soluble impurities like free fatty acid, pigment, aflatoxin, gossypol ,moisture. Due to the above impurities ,the oil is easy to rancidity, so poor quality and low use value. So, it&#;s necessary to remove off these foreign matters according to their different properties and using requirements. So ,that&#;s the purpose of oil refining.

  • Crude Oil Test: Determine the acid value and color. If conditions permitting, do a small sample experiment in the laboratory.
  • Connect with the cooling water
  • Prepare white clay, alkaline (NaoH) and coal.
  • Turn on the power of the refining machine.
  • Check whether vacuum pump, air compressor, filter press and heat pump are normal.
  • After changing the conduction oil, heat for 5 hours in 98 &#;. If no water vapor overflow from the elevated tank, then slowly heat to 280 &#;.

How to Operate Mini Edible Oil Refinery Machine Correctly? 

First, the crude oil is pumped into the refining pot for degumming and neutralization. When the oil and soap are clearly separated and rapidly sinking, stop stirring, let it stand, and then suck out the oil from the upper layer to the washing tank. For small oil refining machine, the soapstock from the bottom of the empty pipe to the soapstock barrel, when the soapstock contains more oil, stop the soapstock, the soapstock by the pump into the soapstock pot. The remaining oil in the refining tank continues to be mixed into the next tank. The oil transferred to the refining tank will be washed and then send to the decolorizing pot for adsorption and decolorization.

The decolorized oil is pumped to the plate and frame filter for filtration, and then transferred to the polishing filter for further filtration. After cooling by the cooler, it enters the decolorization and oil cleaning irrigation. Decolorizing oil from the cleaning tank through the heat exchange tank into the deodorization pot for deodorization, deodorization in the residual pressure of pumps, deodorized oil into the heat exchange tank, after completion, the next pot of decolorized oil through the heat exchange tank into the deodorization pot, and go through the next round of deodorization. The deodorization oil in the heat exchange tank of small refining equipment is cooled with cold water after heat transfer, pumped out for polishing and filtration, and then entered the oil tank. Operation Method
